On July 7, 2025, SALN organized a public consultation workshop at the SunSet Hotel as part of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Nouakchott Coastal Protection and Enhancement Project.
This workshop, focused on the municipality of Tevragh-Ze\u00efna, aimed to present the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the ESIA related to the planned developments under the project, to outline its potential impacts, and to gather feedback from the relevant stakeholders.
The meeting was held under the authority of the Deputy Mayor of Tevragh-Ze\u00efna, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Environment, local NGOs, and community stakeholders who came to share their concerns and recommendations.<\/p>\n
